Jessica Makhlin is a San Francisco-based creative working across music, marketing, and media.
She is the Head of Entertainment Marketing and Senior Creative Manager at Score a Score, where she oversees all creative operations for global campaigns in Film/TV advertising. With over seven years of experience in sync, music supervision, A&R, and creative strategy, her work has contributed to award-winning campaigns for brands like Google, Apple, and The Olympics, and for trailers including White Lotus, Wicked, and Last of Us. She has produced over 100 original albums for sync, managed high-performing creative teams, and helped earn accolades such as Silver Clios, a Sports Emmy, and the Golden Trailer Award for Best Music.
Alongside her work in sync, Jessica (aka Mishka) is a DJ, promoter, and longtime radio resident. Her NTS show – on air since 2018 – has become known for its warm and esoteric selections ranging from balearic and soft rock to Eastern European gems. She currently holds monthly residencies on HydeFM (Cruel Summer) and at SF’s Bar Part Time. Her DJ work has been featured on The Lot Radio, Dublab, KXLU (where she was Music Director) + has played iconic venues including Warfield Theatre, Public Works, Zebulon, Nightmoves, and 1015 Folsom, with artists such as LCD Soundsystem, Chaos in the CBD, Nightmares on Wax, and Avalon Emerson. She also frequently collaborates with brands including Arcteryx, Apple, and Braindead.
She is the Music Director for 5000, a San Francisco-based fashion label, where she has soundtracked NYFW runway shows and programmed a monthly mix series featuring guests like Untitled Halo, Jane Records, Vitamin 1K, and more.
Jessica brings a multidisciplinary approach to everything she does—connecting music, artists, and audiences across both commercial and creative worlds.
